BEPA Subsidizes the Bluefields Basic School

BEPA subsidizes the Bluefields Basic School. The school educates children aged three to five as government-provided education does not begin until age six. BEPA pays for the lunches that are provided to these students, and pays for the salaries of two of the three teachers. The school has three classrooms, ninety students, a small playground, a small kitchen and two latrines. It is located down the street from San Michele, Bluefields Bay Villas’ largest property.
